What We Do

Feed Washington

Washington state faces significant levels of food insecurity, particularly in urban centers such as Seattle, Tacoma, and Spokane. Over 800,000 Washingtonians rely on food banks and meal programs.

This initiative addresses the gap in access to fresh, nutritious meals for homeless individuals and low-income families across the state.

Feed British Columbia

In British Columbia (BC, Canada), food insecurity has become a serious issue, with nearly 18% of households struggling to access adequate food. This percentage reflects a significant rise from previous years, as food insecurity in Canada overall continues to increase. Many families are still facing hunger due to rising costs of living, especially in housing. Inflation and unaffordable housing costs contribute heavily to the situation, with 39% of BC residents spending more than 30% of their income on housing. The struggle is even more pronounced in households led by women, especially single mothers, where food insecurity rates are as high as 41%.

This initiative addresses the gap in access to fresh, nutritious meals for homeless individuals and low-income families across the province.
